I guess I'll do this thing, too?
Boy, that sure is a lot of pony. Looks like we opened up the year with Artist's Training Ground, and Season 2 was still going strong, so there's plenty of uploads January through May, even though classes were still in session. Heh. Only a couple uploads for June because that was when I headed to Taiwan! I figured it was best not to lug around a laptop for my program's orientation, which I guess turned out for the best since they had us running around all the time for the first couple weeks. There's bunch of simpler stuff for the rest of the summer, which I guess makes sense since I was trying to stay out of the dorm as much as possible (with someone to translate for me), and I didn't get back until mid-August. Season 3 of FiM didn't even start until November, so I guess that's a thing too.
Although there seem to be fluctuations in what I've uploaded, that doesn't mean I haven't been drawing in the meantime. I still have this honkin' huge folder of sketches and stuff I may want to come back to. I'll probably (definitely) want to do more human studies and push more variations. Seems the only thing I've been doing lately are ponies from 3/4 view just standing around. Seriously, why is everyone looking left in this compilation... Anyways, I did get to play with GIMP a bit for lineart, but I still ultimately when back to a pressure brush in Photoshop for lines. Maybe I'l try out SAI if I can remember.
Anyways, it's been one heck of a year. And no, I could not resist putting Lightning Dust's face for December.
